Training on "Social work practice with children and adolescents in risk groups" has begun

The National Agency for Social Protection, Columbia University's School of Social Work, UNICEF, and the Center for Advanced Training of Social Protection System Employees have launched the second phase of the training - a specialized course - on the topic "Social work practice with children and adolescents at risk."

During the 5-day intensive training process, participants will learn:
Specific features of adolescence. Biosocial model of adolescent assessment;
Work to support the mental health of adolescents. Methods of working with children with emotional and behavioral problems;
Work to prevent suicidal behavior among adolescents;
Work with children and adolescents at risk of using psychoactive substances;
Trauma-based approach to working with children at risk. They will gain new knowledge and skills through topics such as services and interventions for working with stress and trauma.
