Karakalpak State University named after Berdaq

Practical visits to the Republic of Karakalpakstan on Needs Assessment are continuing with the participation of specialists from the Center for Community Strengthening and Social Wellbeing and the Columbia University School of Social Work.

Earlier, visits were made to a number of social institutions in the city of Nukus, but today's destination was the Berdaq Karakalpak State University.

During the visit, they conducted a study on social work education. The goal was to conduct a preliminary assessment of the compliance of social work education programs with international standards, as well as to study curricula and teaching methods.
