This document is the political final agreement of the conference called the "Bogotá Call to Action" to end violence against children.
In November 2024, the First World Conference on the Protection of Children from Violence was held in Bogota, Colombia. More than 100 countries and many international organizations participated in it and adopted an important document - the "Bogotá Call to Action".
The social principles of the document are as follows:
Strengthen laws prohibiting violence;
Invest in child protection systems;
Develop family support and prevention measures;
Ensure children's participation in decision-making;
Create safe environments in schools and online;
Collect and analyze data to monitor progress.
