As we reported, a support group called "Breaking the Cycle of Poverty" was launched under the Center for Community Strengthening and Social Wellbeing. Today, the volunteer group successfully completed its first 2-month pilot project in Yangihayot district.
In this regard, an award ceremony was organized for students (22 children in need of social protection, including children with disabilities) who participated in mathematics, English and financial literacy courses within the project. At the ceremony, the participants were presented with certificates and souvenirs by Usmon Sharifkhodjayev, Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection.
The results achieved during the pilot project will serve as a solid foundation for expanding this initiative to other regions in the future.
