Regional Academic Collaboration in Social Work

On September 23, 2025, an online meeting was organized with representatives of the Center's staff, the School of Social Work at Columbia University, and the School of Humanities at Narkhoz University of the Republic of Kazakhstan to discuss the prospects for academic and scientific cooperation, as well as to exchange experiences in training personnel in the field of social work and developing educational programs in accordance with international standards.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the harmonization of international standards and local experience, prospects for scientific study of the mahalla institute, experiences in training social work personnel, as well as dual education.

As a result, the parties expressed high interest in mutually beneficial cooperation. The School of Humanities of Narkhoz University noted its readiness to share its experience in modernizing educational programs and dual education. The Center, in turn, expressed its readiness to share its experience in developing social work research at the mahalla level and international standards.
