The presentation of the Phase I final report of the volunteer group "Stop the Cycle of Poverty" (SCP), operating under the Center for Strengthening Communities and Developing Social Wellbeing, was held at the Center.
During the presentation, volunteers presented information about the work carried out and the results achieved in Yangihayot district within the framework of the first phase of their two-month activity. In particular, they taught children from low-income families English, mathematics and financial literacy, as well as implemented initiatives aimed at attracting their peers to knowledge through interactive games. Each volunteer shared the tasks performed in their area, the difficulties encountered and their experience in overcoming them.
The event was attended by U. Sharifkhodjayev, Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection, who expressed his views and recommendations on the activities of the volunteers. The practical significance of the initiative was also recognized and support for the group's future plans was emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, members of the volunteer group provided information about the areas planned for implementation in the next phase of the project, including innovative ideas and collaborative initiatives aimed at reducing poverty.
