The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Protection of Children from All Forms of Violence" came into force on May 15 of this year

Based on this law and in order to ensure its implementation, the Center is currently conducting training in collaboration with the National Agency for Social Protection, the Center for Advanced Training of Social Protection System Personnel, and UNICEF, which provides knowledge and skills based on proven practice in accordance with international standards on providing psychosocial support to children who have suffered from violence, including preventing depression, childhood trauma, and suicidality, and providing direct psychosocial support to them in such cases.

The 5-day intensive training course includes the following topics:
Specific features of adolescence. Biosocial model of adolescent assessment;
Work to support the mental health of adolescents. Methods of working with children with emotional and behavioral problems;
Work to prevent suicidal behavior among adolescents;
Work with children and adolescents at risk of using psychoactive substances;
Trauma-based approach to working with children at risk. Services and interventions for working with stress and trauma.

It should be noted that the training is attended by chief social workers, supervisors, psychologists and social workers from 14 regional "Inson" social service centers, as well as social workers and psychologists from the Centers for Social and Legal Assistance to Minors under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and inspectors-psychologists for minors. (About 100 participants)
