Practical work on Needs Assessment is continuing by specialists from the Center for Strengthening Communities and Developing Social Wellbeing and the Columbia University School of Social Work.

For this purpose, visits were made to a number of important social institutions located in the city of Nukus, including:
Bakhshilik neighborhood,
"Inson" social services center,
Women's Rehabilitation and Adaptation Center, and
Center for Social and Legal Assistance to Minors.

During the visits, experts familiarized themselves with the existing conditions, current needs, quality and scope of services on the ground. The analyses will later serve to organize social services more effectively and form a targeted approach to problems.
