Supervision sessions for social workers continue in Khorezm

The second day of supervision sessions organized for social workers in the Khorezm region was held in the Urgench district.

During the sessions, in-depth analytical discussions were held on 10 difficult cases related to guardianship issues, women and children with oncological diseases, and children subjected to violence. The social situation of children placed in the Center for Social and Legal Assistance to Minors was also analyzed.

Several supervised cases sparked in-depth discussions. For example, experts provided specific recommendations for cases involving a 3-year-old girl who was abused by her mother, a woman battling stage 4 cancer, and a family that lost their breadwinner in a car accident.

During the supervisions conducted in the Khorezm region, a total of 21 severe cases underwent clinical supervision.

It should be noted that these supervisions are being organized with the support of the National Agency for Social Protection (https://t.me/ijtimoiyhimoya_agentligi), UNICEF, and the European Union - UN for citizens of Central Asian countries who have returned from conflict zones.
