Training on "Providing social services to children at risk and their families" successfully completed

The training on “ Providing social services to children at risk and their families ” was successfully completed. This training was organized by the Center for Strengthening Communities and Developing Social Wellbeing in partnership with the Columbia University School of Social Work , the National Agency for Social Protection , and UNICEF , as well as within the framework of the European Union-UN Support Program for Citizens of Central Asian Countries Returning from Conflict Areas (Phase II) .

The main goal of the training, which took place from September 8 to 12, was to improve the skills of trainers selected from different regions of the republic and prepare them to transfer their knowledge and experience to specialists working with at-risk children and their families in their regions .

During the training, participants worked in small groups, testing pedagogical approaches and teaching methods. Each group prepared and presented its own small training session in the form of a practical exercise.

During the 5-day event, participants learned about foreign experience and strengthened their knowledge and skills through practical assignments. As a result, a new group of trainers was formed, who will soon begin conducting training sessions for specialists in their regions.

This initiative will strengthen the support system for at-risk children and their families , build the capacity of professionals , and create sustainable change at the local level .
