An online meeting was organized with representatives of the School of Humanities of the Narkhoz University of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, great interest was expressed in the mahalla institute and an offer was made to visit Uzbekistan for an in-depth scientific study of mahalla activities.

As a result, university representatives met with representatives of the National Agency for Social Protection and the Center for Strengthening Communities and Developing Social Welfare to learn about the experience of social work in Uzbekistan. They also conducted research in the Yangi Kamolon neighborhood of Tashkent and the Mustaqillik neighborhood of Tashkent region.

During the research, the guests received detailed information about the activities of the neighborhood council, social services, the mechanism of services provided to women and children subjected to violence and oppression, the role of national traditions and values ​​in practice, the process of working with children at risk, as well as the areas of social services provided to people in need of home care.

At the end of the study, representatives of neighboring countries highly appreciated the experience of Uzbekistan, in particular the unique approaches of the mahalla institute to social protection and strengthening communities, and expressed their opinions. This confirmed the relevance of the Uzbek model at the regional level.
