International Volunteer Day!

International Volunteer Day!

December 5 was introduced by the UN in 1985 and is dedicated to recognizing the work of all volunteers who provide free services and help society.

Who is a volunteer?
A volunteer is a person who is not indifferent to social problems in society and considers it his civic duty to provide assistance to different segments of the population. He devotes his time, knowledge and experience to improving social well-being, providing assistance to those in need and creating positive changes in the community, without expecting any material benefit.

Two volunteer groups operating under the Center for Strengthening Communities and Developing Social Well-being play an important role in increasing the effectiveness of initiatives implemented in the social sphere. On this day, we sincerely congratulate all volunteers, as well as volunteers from the “Safe Childhood” and “Breaking the Cycle of Poverty” support groups, on the “International Volunteer Day”.

Happy holiday!
May your selfless work for social welfare continue.
